In the newly opened subway, young Chen Baoluo (played by Leslie Cheung) falls in love at first sight with Monica (played by Maggie Cheung) in the same carriage, but unfortunately, another passenger, Annie (played by Anita Mui), takes the opportunity to tease him. The young people quickly scatter in the bustling crowd, and newcomer Chen Baoluo starts focusing on his work, while Monica is troubled by a past romance with her boss. One day, Baoluo and Monica meet again, and the wealthy young lady Annie reappears, playfully teasing Baoluo.
