A heart-wrenching love story! The wealthy young man Fan Jialin (Zonghua) from Hangzhou is loved by the performer Xiugu (Shi Si) and the daughter of the finance director, Lina (Li Jing), but he is infatuated with the singer Shen Fengxi (Jing Li). When Fan returns to Hangzhou to seek his mother's consent for marriage, Fengxi is betrayed by her uncle Sanxian, deceived into the residence of the young marshal (Feng Cuifan), and ultimately becomes his concubine after being forced.
