A group of bandits who rob the rich to help the poor have gathered around Huang Ying Gu, posing a threat to the landlord bully Zhou Bapi and his accomplices. Zhou Bapi invites the puppet army leader Ma Tuan Zhang and the police chief to discuss plans to capture Huang Ying Gu. Huang Ying Gu comes and goes without a trace, causing Zhou Bapi, Ma Tuan Zhang, and the police chief to tremble in fear. Their multiple attempts to capture her have all failed, but Huang Ying Gu's senior brother, Geng Tiesuo, unfortunately falls into the hands of the bully Zhou Bapi. Huang Ying Gu goes alone to rescue Geng Tiesuo, and simultaneously saves a peasant named Liu Qinglin who is dressed as a farmer. Liu Qinglin claims to be from Sanligang and insists on meeting Huang Ying Gu, urging her that "only by uniting with the impoverished people can we take revenge and drive away the Japanese invaders." Huang Ying Gu remains unmoved and lets Liu Qinglin leave the mountain. Shortly after Liu Qinglin departs, Huang Ying Gu saves an old man who has been bullied by the puppet army. Fengxia and Shuangxi are in love, and Huang Ying Gu takes charge to arrange their marriage for the Mid-Autumn Festival. On the night of the festival, Huang Ying Gu's stronghold is decorated and lively as Shuangxi and Fengxia get married, which angers Wang Yinsheng, who drinks, curses, and complains. An old man, whom Huang Ying Gu entrusted to Wang Yinsheng's care, takes the opportunity to knock Wang Yinsheng out and signals the mountain's situation to Ma Tuan Zhang below. Ma Tuan Zhang attacks the stronghold, and Huang Ying Gu and Geng Tiesuo withdraw separately. It turns out that the old man Huang Ying Gu saved is a spy sent by Zhou Bapi. Huang Ying Gu and her group are forced into a village by Ma Tuan Zhang; when cornered, a middle-aged man pretending to be a farmer helps them escape through a tunnel, leading them to Liu Qinglin, whom they had rescued earlier. Coincidentally, Huang Ying Gu also meets Liu Qinglin's mother, who is her lifesaver. Liu Qinglin is the leader of the anti-Japanese armed forces. Under Liu Qinglin's guidance that "to fight the Japanese and kill the landlords, one must be resolute," Huang Ying Gu agrees to join him in resisting the Japanese. Soon, Huang Ying Gu contacts Geng Tiesuo and gathers his group to Sanligang. Wang Yinsheng betrays them and brings the puppet army leader Ma Tuan Zhang into Sanligang, causing significant damage to the anti-Japanese base. The puppet army leader Ma Tuan Zhang launches a sneak attack on Sanligang. The headstrong Geng Tiesuo refuses to follow orders and disguises himself as a Japanese soldier to enter the city and attack Ma Tuan Zhang, disrupting the plans of Liu Qinglin and Huang Ying Gu. Fortunately, Huang Ying Gu arrives in time to prevent a major disaster. However, Geng Tiesuo refuses to listen and, encouraged by Wang Yinsheng, leaves the anti-Japanese armed group, ultimately falling into an ambush set by Ma Tuan Zhang and the Japanese puppet troops. Huang Ying Gu rides to the rescue, but sadly finds herself surrounded. At the critical moment, Liu Qinglin leads a team to assist and together with Huang Ying Gu, they annihilate the Japanese puppet troops, punish the bully Zhou Bapi, and lead their forces to a new anti-Japanese front.
