Newlyweds Forest (C. Thomas Howell), Karen (Anya Benton), Cole (Darren Dalton), and Lindsay (Lindsey McKeon) set sail for their honeymoon in Puerto Rico. While cruising in the Caribbean, they encounter a terrifying storm. Once the storm passes, all the ship's radar and engines have been destroyed, and fresh water is nearly gone, leaving them stranded at sea without direction. Just as panic sets in, a small island appears before them. Overjoyed, they quickly take the lifeboat to the island, leaving the fearful Karen behind on the ship. Shortly after landing, crew member Stykes is attacked and killed by a pterosaur, and they soon discover that the island is filled with long-extinct dinosaurs. As they attempt to escape this terrifying island, Karen and the lifeboat mysteriously disappear. On this dangerous terrain, they must find a way to survive...
