Shirakawa Shin (played by Junichi Ito) was born in a temple and attended Koyasan University, a sacred place for Buddhism. After graduating, he did not choose to shave his head and start a monastic life; instead, he grew his hair and worked in a bookstore. Although born and raised in a temple, Shirakawa Shin is troubled internally, hesitating in the face of a future full of infinite possibilities, unable to take the first step. At this moment, an unexpected event occurs: his grandfather, the temple's head priest, Rieon (played by Tohru Shinagawa), can no longer continue his work at the temple. Taking this opportunity, Shirakawa Shin enters the temple and becomes the head priest of Eifuku Temple, succeeding his grandfather. Only after becoming the head priest does Shirakawa Shin realize that everything in the temple is so different from what he imagined. Difficulties and troubles arise one after another. Can Shirakawa Shin hold on, stay true to his original intention, and fulfill his wishes?
