The annual Christmas season is approaching again, and Mr. Scott (Tim Allen) is becoming increasingly busy as Santa Claus. At just this critical moment, Principal Carol (Elizabeth Mitchell) approaches Scott and tells him that his son Charlie (Eric Lloyd) has become a troubled student at school. Carol hopes that Scott can spend more time with and educate Charlie. During his interactions with Carol, Scott gradually falls in love with this independent and strong woman. According to the Santa Claus rules, he must find his soulmate before this Christmas, and Carol appears just in time. Scott reveals his true identity to Carol, but she thinks he is joking, causing a rift in their relationship.
