Ewan McGregor, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, and Val Kilmer will star in the new film [The Birthday Cake](The Birthday Cake, temporary translation). The story follows Giovanni, played by Fiennes Tiffin, who reluctantly continues the family tradition of delivering a cake to his uncle Angelo (Kilmer) on the 10th anniversary of his father's death. However, Giovanni's life changes that night when he witnesses a murder and uncovers the truth about what happened to his father. This film is the directorial debut of Jim Giannopoulos, based on his original story, and will begin shooting in New York this fall.
