The story takes place in New Orleans, a paradise for criminals. Sean (Johnny Strong) is an experienced detective who despises evil. His son tragically dies in an accident, and his wife chooses to leave, causing Sean to lose almost everything at once. He channels all his hatred toward criminals, and in his work, he becomes increasingly violent and authoritarian, showing no mercy to his opponents, which leads to numerous complaints and puts him on the verge of suspension. Recently, there have been numerous violent incidents of a very severe nature in Sean's jurisdiction, with the killers employing extremely brutal methods. Even drug lord Wade's (Method Man) brother falls victim and sadly dies, and the root cause of all this chaos is the gang leader Raymond (Costas Mandylor), who is in opposition to Wade.
