Enforcer, a film and TV series, has both Western and Hong Kong versions. The Hong Kong version of Enforcer takes place in early 1980s Hong Kong. Undercover detectives Yung Tin-Pong and Lee Wai are fiercely against evil and take on a case involving the conspiracy to smuggle 51 illegal immigrants into Hong Kong. They identify three suspects, but the mastermind, Chen Zhendong, is a social elite with wealth and power. He sends hitman Wu Tao to eliminate the prosecution's witness and hires lawyer Song Wannian to exonerate the suspect. The police find the murder weapon used by Wu Tao, but Chen Zhendong uses money to find someone to take the blame for Wu Tao and also bribes Inspector Yan Ping and Uncle. Yung and Lee work hard to investigate and finally expose Yan Ping's crimes. At this point, Wu Tao is ordered to kill Uncle and Yung Tin-Pong, and frames Lee Wai. Enraged, Lee Wai kills Wu Tao and ultimately confronts Chen Zhendong.
