The protagonist Zhu Qingmao (played by Qin Han) witnesses his mother's infidelity during his childhood, leading to deep resentment and anger towards her. As time goes by, Qingmao leaves home in search of shelter and support, ultimately finding the kind-hearted Aunt Wu. His mother attempts to mend her relationship with her son multiple times, but Qingmao consistently avoids her, filling his heart with doubt and hatred, particularly towards women. Later, Qingmao is finally persuaded by Aunt Wu to meet his mother at a hotel. There, he mistakenly believes his mother is cheating on him again with another man, but the misunderstanding is eventually clarified.
