In 1976, Ye Chuan, the Party Secretary of a chemical equipment factory in a certain city, resolutely implemented the task assigned by the State Council and the Ministry of Petroleum and Chemical Industry to trial-produce large chemical equipment in order to achieve the four modernizations early and fill the gap in the petrochemical sector.
