In February 1945, in the Paris Metro, a worker named Jin Diego encounters a fortune-telling homeless man. The homeless man predicts that he will fall in love with a beautiful woman and that a dramatic situation will arise just a few hours later. Soon, Jin meets a young woman named Magus, who is escaping an unhappy marriage. Magus's brother Guy also receives a warning from the mysterious homeless man: he is being pushed into an unfortunate death. Guy ignores him.
