Several months ago, a hard drive containing the names of all the agents infiltrating terrorist organizations around the world was lost by MI6, and the operation to recover it ended in failure. Following this, the head of operations, M (played by Judi Dench), was dismissed, and MI6 suffered a brutal attack with heavy casualties. To uncover the true mastermind behind the attack, M summons the presumed-dead legendary agent James Bond (played by Daniel Craig). After undergoing a rigorous retraining and testing, Bond is reinstated.
