The story begins with a failed transaction, where the bad guy Michael Woods wreaks havoc with an attack drone car, resulting in a big explosion that sends everyone except Michael Woods to their demise. Donnie Yen plays Zhi Liang, who appears quickly and has a comedic effect; he wears a pair of overalls in pink and white stripes that look like a circus outfit. Zhi Liang is a tour guide who catches a pickpocket stealing from his group, but in the process, his own wallet gets stolen. Therefore, Zhi Liang chases the motorcycle thief on a bicycle and teaches him a lesson. However, he is then pursued by the thief's gang on bouncing vehicles, which resembles a less sophisticated slapstick comedy, while other scenes are quite brutal, such as Michael Woods putting a gun in a guy's mouth and pulling the trigger. The action scenes swing between these two extremes throughout. Salvitti, playing the mad dog role, always takes off his jacket before a fight. At one point, Donnie Yen performs an incredible jump kick over Salvitti's head to avoid his attack. Then the team enters a forest cave. The last 20 minutes consist mainly of unrestrained, nonstop action scenes, as the smugglers following the map to find the gold crystal also arrive here. Michael Woods' new toy is a drone loaded with explosives, and he is exceedingly pleased when he controls the drone to attack the main characters, with many automatic weapons firing, followed by some Chinese Kung Fu. Lisa’s bodyguard (Liu Wai-Kwong) survives multiple stabbings, and Lisa falls from a cliff to avoid an explosion, ending up in the dirt. Zhi Liang, with the assistance of Hu Hui Chung and Joyce, faces off against Michael Woods and Salvitti; initially, these foreign villains seem almost indestructible, exhausting the heroes. Ultimately, however, the deaths of these two bad guys are quite gruesome, as Zhi Liang tightly secures Michael Woods' neck with a chain to a tree, and Joyce delivers a fatal blow to Michael Woods below the belt. After receiving three hits to the head along with Zhi Liang's brutal log strike, Salvitti also meets his deserved end.
