In the small town of Nome, Alaska, bizarre events have been occurring continuously over the past few decades. Many people have mysteriously disappeared, and many others suffer from severe insomnia, with suicide rates remaining high. Single mother Abigail Tyler (played by Milla Jovovich) experienced a strange disaster years ago, during which her husband, who was sleeping beside her, died mysteriously. After that, Abigail began studying hypnosis. Upon learning about the incidents in Nome, she instinctively feels a strong connection to her own experiences. After hypnotizing several witnesses, Abigail discovers that they all encountered unknown beings, during which she witnesses tragic scenes of them killing their entire families and then committing suicide. As the investigation deepens, the truth gradually comes to light, but the most terrifying events also begin to unfold... The film is rumored to be based on true events.
