After years of struggling in Yuehai City, Jiani and her boyfriend Zhiyuan recently had a disagreement over marriage and buying a house. A phone call reconnects her with her biological family and sets her on a journey to find them; she discovers that she has three biological siblings. During her time at her birth mother's home, the three sisters heal each other, reminding Jiani of the memories with her adoptive father and prompting her to reassess her understanding of family relationships and emotions.
