The film is adapted from Ryo Asai's novel of the same name, telling the story of prosecutor Terai Hiroki, played by Goro Inagaki, who worries that his son, reluctant to attend elementary school, may become disconnected from the outside world. Gen Hoshino plays Kiryuu Natsuki, a shopping mall employee who hides her special fetish in life. The two meet by chance and spark a connection.
