Middle-aged man Frank (Joel Murray) is deeply numb to the noisy world; his life is like a stagnant pool, muddling through each day. He endures the harassment from his selfish neighbors, feels helpless about his ex-wife’s remarriage and his daughter's rebellion, and is disgusted by shameless reality TV contestants. Finally, the diagnosis of a brain tumor and the loss of his job completely crush Frank. Just as he contemplates ending his life through suicide, the greedy contestant from a reality show awakens his long-buried hatred, and he decides to take justice into his own hands. So Frank goes out and kills the neighbor girl Chloe, whom he believes deserves it, and this scene is witnessed by another girl, Roxy (Tara Lynne Barr). Roxy also despises the flawed society, and she voluntarily joins Frank’s murder plan. Together, they take to the streets with guns, making a huge spectacle of their killing spree, becoming the focus of news coverage…
