In Bosnia, 1995, after a peace agreement is signed in the civil war, a small squad is tasked with clearing landmines from both sides of the border. In a nearby abandoned factory, they discover a man locked in the basement. No food, no water, no light. He seems to be waiting for them. The soldiers take him back to the base, but they can't determine his identity. He refuses food and drink, appearing very submissive. The next day, they find that his soldier has gone missing. While returning to the factory in search, the soldiers discover many corpses and are ambushed by unidentified armed personnel. After paying one of them, they bring the captive back to camp. When he sees the man rescued from the basement, he tells the soldiers they have released the devil. Thus, more strange legends begin to spread among them, and the squad loses all contact with headquarters; the landmines they had cleared suddenly surround them in danger once more...
