Robinson (played by Dan O'Herlihy) suffers a shipwreck during his voyage. Lucky to have survived, he washes ashore on a deserted island, where he seems to be the only modern human. Instead of giving in to fate, Robinson uses his intelligence and courage to slowly build his own kingdom on the island. However, in addition to the harsh climate and scarce resources, the greatest threat he faces is the cannibal tribe lurking on the island. By chance, Robinson saves a child from the cannibals and names him Friday (played by Jaime Fernández). Thus, Friday becomes Robinson's best friend and most loyal servant. Robinson lives on the island for twenty-eight years, two months, and nineteen days, and this unforgettable time changes his destiny completely.
