After a brilliant summer at the age of 16, the magical pair of jeans has continued to accompany Carmen, Tibby, Lena, and Bridget, four close friends, as they each embroider their experiences onto the jeans, sharing and passing along their emotional journeys. Three years have passed, and the four girls have entered different universities and made new friends. As the freshman summer vacation approaches, new adventures await them.
