The protagonist of this work is Kondo, a wandering film director who returns to Ginpei Town, where he spent his youth, completely broke. By chance, he meets Sato, a homeless movie enthusiast, and the manager of the Ginpei Scala Theatre located in a corner of the shopping district, and he starts a part-time job.
