The renowned white-clad young hero Lei Li (played by Jiang David), famous for his "Double Knives of Mandarin Ducks" skill, is framed by Long Yizhi (played by Gu Feng). After self-mutilating his right arm and exiting the martial world, he hides his identity and works as a helper in a small restaurant, enduring a life of insult and bullying. The daughter of the neighboring blacksmith, Ba Jiao (played by Li Jing), develops feelings for him and often encourages him to reshape his image, but unfortunately, Lei Li cannot conquer his inner demons. After meeting the dashing young hero Feng Junjie (played by Di Long), Lei Li regains his confidence in life and promises to join Feng Junjie in a retreat after he receives a visit from Long Yizhi. Unfortunately, Feng Junjie falls into Long Yizhi's trap just like Lei Li did years ago. Despite his valiant resistance, he is ultimately defeated and dies. Upon hearing the news, Lei Li is deeply saddened and vows to train himself with his left arm to avenge his good brother.
