Prince Wu Yi abuses his power to seize the Purple Light Sword, going so far as to kill Gan Daxiong and force Xu Mu to leave. He commands his son Lu Tianxia (Chen Honglie) to lead his henchmen to storm Gan’s fort under the pretense of a memorial, enforcing force to take the sword. At this time of panic, the three daughters of the Gan family—Shengnan (You Qing), Yanan (Lin Jia), and Chaonan (Shu Pepe)—are visited by their cousin Xu Jin (Zhang Yi), who joins forces to repel the henchmen. However, during the battle, Xu Jin and Shengnan are injured, and the unharmed Yanan goes to Flying Tiger Ridge to seek reinforcements. While the Gan family recuperates, Lu calls upon the Five Tigers from the jianghu to attack the Gan family again. Despite being outnumbered, Xu Jin and others manage to protect the Purple Light Sword as Shengnan is captured, leading to a desperate escape.
