Henry, an unsuccessful screenwriter (played by Til Schweiger), was originally leading a carefree single life, but it gets disrupted by an adorable and quirky eight-year-old girl named Madalena (played by Emma Schweiger), who claims to be his daughter. This unexpected "daughter" turns out to be the result of a one-night stand eight years ago, and inexperienced Henry has no choice but to awkwardly take care of this unexpected "daughter." Meanwhile, Henry receives a major assignment to adapt a bestselling novel, and to his surprise, his co-writer is his ex-girlfriend Katharina (played by Jasmin Gerat). Henry hopes to seize this opportunity to win back his true love, but the mischievous Madalena causes a series of humorous yet heartwarming incidents along the way. Can Henry win the affection of his little "daughter" with his signature dish "Wine Braised Chicken," and can he reignite this hard-won romance?
