Known as the "Fastest Hands in Asia," Chen Ya Xie (played by Andy Lau) is imprisoned for cheating. After serving his sentence and being released, his partner Sam (played by Alan Tam) immediately has his assistant Bo Bo (played by Lisa Wang) welcome him. Just after gaining his freedom, Ya Xie and Sam perform a clever act of deception together. Soon after, they are tasked by a friend to travel to the United States to investigate a Japanese cheating gang. They successfully help the casino recover its losses, bringing shame to the Japanese, who then seek revenge. In the U.S., Sam meets the wealthy young lady Tong Ke Ren (played by Michelle Chen), and after using various romantic gestures to win her over, he gains his father-in-law's acceptance, albeit at the cost of distancing himself from Ya Xie and other less respectable friends. Meanwhile, the head of the Japanese cheating group, the Miyasato father and son, intensify their revenge plans, and Ya Xie sacrifices his pride as the fastest hands to save Sam. Faced with the aggressive Miyasato, the brothers Ya Xie and Sam finally join forces once again against their enemies.
