The story takes place in England in 1957, where Benny (Minnie Driver) and Eve (Geraldine O'Rawe) reunite with their elementary school classmate Nan (Saffron Burrows). Through Nan, a man named Jack (Chris O'Donnell) enters their lives. Jack is deeply attracted to the passionate and lively Benny and soon pursues her fervently, leading to their romance.
