When the 2008 financial crisis broke out, Peter Sullivan (played by Zachary Quinto), an analyst at an investment bank on Wall Street, discovered significant flaws in the company's asset evaluation that were about to lead to the bank's bankruptcy. The company's executives held an emergency meeting overnight in hopes of saving the company. Experienced stockbroker Sam Rogers (played by Kevin Spacey), securities broker Jared Cohen (played by Simon Baker), financial crisis analyst Sarah Robertson (played by Demi Moore), and CEO John Tuld (played by Jeremy Irons) all arrived at the meeting. The meeting decided that the bank would sell off its debts and stocks at extremely low prices. Although this move would provide temporary stability for the bank, it would trigger a series of chain reactions.......
