On a snowy slope, the milkman Kim Wan-sik (played by Lee Soon-jae) encounters the elderly junk collector Song Yi-fen (played by Yoon Seung-ah). Each has borne a hard life in the first half of their lives: Wan-sik lived a carefree life in his youth, only feeling deep regret after his wife's death; Yi-fen was abandoned by her beloved man in a city corner and remained unmarried after losing her child. The two elderly people meet on the silent streets every early morning, and their lonely and suffering lives gradually bring them closer together. Through the matchmaking of Wan-sik's granddaughter Yeon-a (played by Song Ji-hyo), the flutter of first love begins to emerge in their hearts. Wan-sik's friend, parking lot attendant Jang Jun-pyung (played by Song Jae-ho), patiently cares for his wife who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Until one day, Jun-pyung learns that his wife has a terminal illness. Witnessing her painful episodes time and again, he makes a heartbreaking decision… The film is adapted from the work of renowned Korean webcomic artist Kang Chao and has received acclaim for both its film and the stage play of the same name.
