Jiu Gu Niang (played by Shu Pei Pei) has a brother, Ba Jie (played by Kang Hua), who colludes with the local tyrant Hu Jiao (played by Wang Xia) from Evil Tiger Village to rob a convoy of silver, but is injured by "Iron Sand Palm" Luo Hong Xun (played by Yue Hua).
