Mark, an 11-year-old boy, is obsessed with his iPad and hardly leaves the house. But when his grandmother passes away and his grandfather moves in, Mark's life turns upside down. He is ordered to participate in outdoor activities. Nono—his grandfather—takes him to learn bocce with a group of Italian old men from the neighborhood. Amidst sports, laughter, and love, Mark discovers connections with others and organizes a bocce team with the neighborhood kids, determined to challenge his grandfather and his friends' team.
