Carlos is a crime novelist who hasn't been able to leave his home or write anything since his wife's death. The publishing house sends an assistant to his house to help him write. Carlos imagines her as his deceased wife and, not wanting to let this second chance at love slip away, decides to do whatever it takes to keep her by his side, while she attempts to escape time and time again.
